Minho Jeong, the South Korean Countertenor, was born in Dae-gu, South Korea.  He began his singing career as a tenor in college, but made the bold decision to switch to a countertenor after graduation. Minho made his countertenor debut the following year in 2012, singing the alto-arias in Bach’s h-moll messe with Bachsolisten Seoul, conducted by Masaaki Suzuki.  Following that performance, he performed numerous Bach Cantatas and Passions with renowned artists, such as Hakwon Yoon, Sunah Kim, Masaaki Suzuki, Masato Suzuki, Ryo Terakado, Pascal Bertin, Jos Vermund, Mike Fentross, Gerd Türk, and Sigiswald Kuijken; performances that brought him to several of the world’s most prestigious concert halls, including the , LA Disney Hall, Dallas Opera Theater, Lotte Concert Hall, Seoul Art Center, and Tokyo Opera City Concert Hall.

Minho Jeong was coached by Seungbok Shin, Dongho Shin, Junghyun Kim, Chungsik Park, and Seunghee Park. He is currently under the tutelage of Rita Dams, Peter Kooij, Pascal Bertin, and Robin Blaze at the Royal Conservatory of the Hague.
